Marijampolė is known as the city of cats: cat motifs can be found in various places throughout the city, and there is even a dedicated Cat Courtyard. Yet there is always room to expand the city’s attractive spaces. Located in an inner courtyard, this mural invites visitors to explore the Old Town more deeply, discover places they might otherwise miss, and experience its beauty beyond the main streets. Created by an artist from Marijampolė, the mural is his gift to the city, depicting its best-known buildings alongside cats.
