In the Various Gifts of Nature, Vandana Jain created six emblems to represent different aspects of nature. She continues her practice of repurposing the symbolic language of corporate logos for the common use of society by combining it with the medieval tradition of heraldry. The artist designed “new emblems” that represents the joys we all hold in common rather than the lineages and allegiances that separate us and hopes that we will be able to gather under wider umbrellas of our common ground.
