Artists chose to create a mural based around the Lithuanian Goddess Medeina, blending themes of nature and protection. Medeina’s role is to watch over the forest and all beings in it. In this mural we depicted the creatures she protects, as well as her eventual life cycle of maiden, mother and crone. We are all here temporarily. We hope that these themes serves as a reminder to appreciate the fleeting moments and to prioritize compassion and protection for all living things.
